At Lilac City Friends we provide a compassionate, safe environment for your loved one with while you take a much-needed break. Open 8:30am to 4pm Mon thru Fri. Our licensed staff is trained in CPR and first aid. In addition, we all have experience working with dementia behavior and with adults with disabilties. Our site features accessible bathrooms, seating, and a wheelchair lift. Fees are very affordable which enables families to utilize our services more often. Clients have multiple choices of activities such as movies, weekly trips to the library, arts and crafts, card and board games, a pool table, ping pong, and pinball. Musical instruments are available to use including a piano and organ. Art supplies and paints are provided. Day time outings are optional and may have a minimal extra charge.
We are located in the Garland District just one block north of Garland.
